This Advent, Pastor Kelli led our church through Isaiah 35, inviting us to rediscover true joy. She reminded us that biblical joy is transcendent, transformative, and contagious, not something we manufacture or tie to our circumstances. In a weary world, Pastor Kelli pointed us to the hope found in Christ’s first and second coming, where God’s presence turns deserts into blooming gardens. Through Isaiah’s words to the exiled people of Judah, we were challenged to move beyond fleeting happiness and embrace the settled assurance that God is in control, a joy meant to reshape our perspective and be shared with a world longing for hope. ✨
