We often believe that faithfully following God should lead to easier paths and better outcomes. Yet in 2 Timothy, Paul writes from prison, facing execution and abandonment, with unwavering confidence in his purpose. He challenges Timothy to embrace suffering for the gospel rather than seek comfort or safety. While sacrifice may look different for us today, even inconvenience can cause us to hesitate. Are we willing to let go of our expectations of an easy Christian life and faithfully respond when God calls?
