On Pentecost Sunday, guest speaker Bishop Keith Cowart shared a powerful message rooted in John 14 and Acts 2, reminding us that we can have greater intimacy with Jesus because the Holy Spirit lives in us.
The Holy Spirit is not an abstract force but a person: God’s very presence with us. He is the One we long for in prayer, the One through whom we encounter the living God. The Spirit is holy, working within us to sanctify and transform us, producing the fruit of a holy life, not through legalism but through love, joy, peace, and more (Galatians 5:22-23).
